welcome to new zealand

We are pretty brain dead. Long trip from Hong Kong to Sydney to Christchurch. Lots of hours in a plane, lots of time difference and little sleep. So all I'm going to say for now is that we are staying in a (apparently 5 star) hotel apartment in a fantastic setting: we can see a lake from the bedroom window. We had intentions of spending some time planning the next stages of the new zealand trip, but we are both pretty tired so might just crash. Tomorrow is another day.
